What is the IVF success rate at Wellspring IVF?
Our IVF success rate is over 70%, which is among the highest in Gujarat. However, success rates vary based on individual factors including age, diagnosis, and embryo quality. During your consultation, Dr. Shah will give you a realistic assessment based on your specific situation — not a generic number.
How long does one IVF cycle take?
A standard IVF cycle takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the start of your period to the pregnancy test. Stimulation runs 10–14 days, followed by egg retrieval, embryo culture (3–5 days), embryo transfer, and a Beta-hCG pregnancy test on Day 13 post-transfer.
Is IVF painful?
Most patients describe IVF as significantly more manageable than expected. The daily injections during stimulation are subcutaneous and cause mild discomfort at most. Egg retrieval is performed under short anaesthesia — you will not feel anything during the procedure. The embryo transfer itself is painless, similar to a routine gynaecological examination.
Can I get IVF with low AMH?
Yes. Low AMH indicates a smaller egg reserve, but it does not mean IVF is impossible. Dr. Shah specialises in customised stimulation protocols for poor responders, including modified antagonist and dual stimulation (DuoStim) cycles. Do you offer a free second opinion?
Absolutely. If you have undergone a failed IVF cycle elsewhere, or received a discouraging diagnosis, we offer a complimentary second opinion consultation with Dr. Shah. Many couples told their case was ‘too difficult’ have found a clear, hopeful path forward after this consultation.
Do you provide Surrogacy services?
Wellspring IVF does not currently offer surrogacy as a clinical service. We do provide educational information on India’s surrogacy legal framework — the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act 2021 — to help couples understand their options.
